As a follow-up to our Jump Rope for Heart activity, last Friday was our water balloon toss day.  Any student raising $25 or more for Jump Rope for Heart got a water balloon for every $25 they raised to throw at teachers who were willing to be on the firing line. Several brave teachers were targets for the 287 water balloons our students earned.

Tennis Day at Crozet!

Students played tennis in PE all day.  1^st graders had the opportunity to be on the QuickStart tennis courts with players from the UVA men’s tennis team and the Western Albemarle girl’s tennis team.  Then came the big announcement from Miss Lynda (“the tennis lady”) that the 1^st graders got to keep the tennis racquets they were playing with and would also get a bag of balls. Thank you to QuickStart tennis!
