Mark Your Calendar!

Virginia’s Oldest Kids’ Track Race in the area will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Monticello High School.
The day features exciting races for kids ages 3-14, including a sibling race, a parent-child relay, a scramble for the little ones, and a community-wide school relay.





The Boyd Tinsley Community Kids Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29th from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. Kids between ages 6 and 18 are welcome to attend. Come on out and hit with the pros!!!

2015 Kids Triple Crown Series
Come join in some healthy family fun this spring!

There are four area races in the Kid's Triple Crown Series, but participants only need to complete three to qualify for the Triple Crown medal.
  • Saturday, March 21 — Charlottesville Ten Miler Kid's Race Featuring three different races on the UVA track (400, 800, and 1600 meters)
  • Saturday, April 18 — The Run for Austim Hosted by The Virginia Institute of Autism. Featuring a quarter mile race on the CHS track or a full 5K on the road.
  • Saturday, April 26 — The Family Fitness Runs Hosted by The Charlottesville Day School at Panorama Farms in Earlysville. Featuring a 100 yard dash and a half mile run on grass.
  • Saturday, May 9 — The Discovery Dash for Kids Hosted by The Virginia Discovery Museum at Monticello High School’s track. Featuring races from 100 meters up to the mile with several family oriented relays on the track.
